Number of passengers on Tallinn-Kuressaare air route increased by 55.5% in January

Estonia-based airline Estonian Air carried 1,291 passengers on Tallinn-Kuressaare route in January 2011, 2011, which is 55.5% more, year-on-year, Estonian Air operated 38 round trips in January, which is 11% more, year-on-year.

"Starting from May 2010, passenger numbers have been climbing up steadily. The increase is supported by improved economical climate, favorable fare and active sales through Estonian Air's and its partner's sales channels," said Rauno Parras, Estonian Air Vice President Commercial.
Estonian Air operates between Tallinn and Kuressaare eight flights a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. One-way fares to Kuressaare, if purchased from www.estonian-air.com, start from 15.6 euros, including all fees and taxes, and are subject to availability, writes LETA.
