The fresh dividends TOP of Äripäev lists the Estonia businessmen who in the deepest recession year 2009 managed to write themselves a pay check of at least three million kroons; in 2009 TOP list winner is construction businessman Toomas Annus. The largest amount of dividends, 45.72 mln kroons, was withdrawn in 2009 by Toomas Annus, one of the owners of Merko Ehitus and real estate development company ELL Kinnisvara.

Annus is followed in the top list by MSI Grupp’s three owners Jüri Jantchuk, Ludmila Kanepe and Dmitri Mälson with 35.18 mln kroons each for selling the group’s railway cargo and expediting firm Meta-EKS SP, writes LETA.

Oleg Ossinosvki, railway businessman and one of the biggest private individuals –owners of Tallinna Vesi, was on the 5th position with 33.13 mln kroons.

Mati Ivask, Viktor Arhipov and Ain Sigus, three more owners of MSII Grpp withdrew 31.13 mln kroons each.

The top ten is summed up by Dmitri Drajev, Valeri Gridnev and Mikhail Lezhnin who each received 27.93 mln kroons; they sold in 2008 together with companions for 900 mln kroons construction materials sales chain Ehituse ABC to international concern Isover Saint-Gobain.

Äripäev said that the list of dividend payers included still a lot of those who received money for selling property years ago but have preferred the strategy of withdrawing dividends bit by bit. For example former owners of Sylvester, former Hansapank owners, creators of Säästumarket and Toomas Peek and Tõnis Palts who sold Q GSM (current Tele2) already in 1999.
