Linda Line to launch ferry service between Helsinki and Saaremaa

In May 2011, Estonian ferry operator Linda Line plans to open a route between the capital of Finland and Kuivastu, a port servicing popular Estonian vacation destinations, the islands of Muhu and Saaremaa, LETA/ERR reports referring to Meie Maa.

According to Linda Line manager Enn Rohula, the catamaran Merilin, with a boarding capacity of 400 passengers, will initially make one trip per week on Wednesdays.
The one-way trip will take four hours and the estimated price for a one-way ticket from Helsinki to Kuivastu will be 40 to 50 euros.
