"Elvi" to open 30 new stores in Latvia

Print version"Elvi" grocery store chain brand holder joint-stock Partikas tridzniecibas apvieniba plans to add 30 new stores to the chain in 2011, as "Elvi" representative Kaspars Spunde informed the business portal Nozare.lv.

"Elvi" experienced a significant growth in 2010 and added 19 new stores to its chain all over Latvia. The growth is also expected this year, and at least 30 additional ones will be added, thus reaching a total of 100 in Latvia, writes LETA.
"The substantial increase in company turnover is also projected, the availability of finances, the quality improvements in work organization, employee training and client service will contribute to it," pointed out Spunde.
Currently, there are no plans to develop the "Elvi" brand abroad, however, such a possibility is being constantly evaluated.
At the moment, there are 70 "Elvi" chain stores, thus making it the largest chain store franchise in Latvia.
