Linas Agro expanding to Estonia

Linas Agro, an agricultural company operating in Lithuania, Latvia and Ukraine, has established a company in Estonia in an effort to strengthen its position in the Baltic market, informs LETA/BNS.
"We assess the situation in Estonia very positively: it is a modern innovative market," Linas Agro CEO Tomas Puckis said in a press release.
"We see a great potential for successfully developing our business there and are ready to invest in human resources and quality development," he said.
Dotnuva Baltic, a subsidiary of the Lithuania-based group, is already operating in Estonia.
Linas Agro Group saw its consolidated revenue fall by 11 percent in the 2019-2020 financial year to 658 million euros. Net profits came in at 8.7 million euros, versus 4.9 million euros in net losses a year earlier.
