Ryanair’s Chris Lundshøj said: “The winter season is here and we’re pleased
to start our new weekly Riga-Edinburgh route, the first of our winter 2018
routes. Latvian customers
and visitors can choose from 15 Riga routes this winter, including this new
route to Edinburgh. To celebrate, we
are releasing seats for sale from just 14.99 euros for travel from November to January
which are available for booking until midnight Friday (2 November). Since these
amazing low prices will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto www.ryanair.com now and avoid missing
out.”
Chairperson of the Board of Riga
Airport, Ilona Līce said: “Riga Airport is happy and satisfied that
the range of Ryanair's colourful destinations from Riga this autumn will add
another wonderful hue - the Scottish capital of Edinburgh. Passengers from Baltic,
Scandinavian and other countries will undoubtedly appreciate the opportunity to
get to this cultural, artistic and architectural pearl, which is often called
the ‘Athens of the North’, within just a few hours.”
Flights to and from Riga and Edinburgh will be conducted once per week –
on Thursdays.
