Leonhard Weiss to reconstruct 64 km of railway in Estonia

The state-owned Estonian railway infrastructure company Estonian Railways (AS Eesti Raudtee) has entered into a contract with Leonhard Weiss RTE AS for the reconstruction of 64 kilometers of railway sections on the Tapa-Narva and Tapa-Tartu routes for 19.4 million euros, informs LETA/BNS.

According to Indrek Kaliste, a member of the board of Leonhard Weiss RTE, the works are to begin this September and main works are to be finished by the end of 2019. Reconstruction is planned to be mainly carried out during the night for railway traffic disturbances to be minimal.
Leonhard Weiss RTE AS is to cooperate with Leonhard Weiss Viater Ehitus AS on this project.
The works are to be partially funded from the European Cohesion Fund in the amount of 15.2 million euros.
