LNK Industries has been selected as the construction company which will build the new hotel.

The total investments in the project has not been revealed at the moment.

The Radisson RED hotel in Riga will be open in cooperation with the real-estate management company Astor Group, which currently manages several other Radisson brand hotels in the city.

The new hotel with 220 rooms will be the first Radisson RED hotel in Latvia. Radisson RED is a new lifestyle brand of Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group for the so-called millenials generation travelers. The Radisson RED hotel in Riga will be opened in cooperation with Asto Group real estate company.

Elie Younes, Rezidor Hotel Group Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer, said that the hotel in Riga will increase the group’s presence in the market and its dominating position in the Baltic states.

The Rezidor Hotel Group portfolio has 480 hotels in more than 80 countries of the world with Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson brands in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The Rezidor Hotel Group is a part of Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group which runs Radisson RED, Quorvus Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson and Country Inns & Suites brands. It operates about 1,400 hotels in 115 countries.
