Tartu Airport passenger numbers in April grew by 47% on year

Print versionTartu Airport's passenger numbers in April 2016 have increased by 16% or 799 passengers year over year – rising to 2,486, informs LETA/BNS.

This is the second best monthly result of all time and an uncontested best for a single airline, spokespeople for the airport said.
The number of passengers on Finnair's Helsinki-Tartu service was 1,171 and on the Tartu-Helsinki service 1,315. The average load factor of the two operations was 61% and 64%, respectively.
Located at Ulenurme near Tartu, Tartu Airport belongs to the state-owned airport company Tallinn Airport. The airport also serves as the base for training flights of the Estonian Aviation Academy.
