Nordica launches direct flights from Tallinn to Croatian Rijeka

The Estonian state-owned airline Nordica, in cooperation with Adria Airways, launched direct flights to the city of Rijeka in Croatia on July 4th, informs BC the company.

The first flight from Tallinn to Rijeka will take off at 6:30 p.m.

 

Nordica board member Erik Sakkov said that the interest of Estonians in Croatia and their love for the country are growing.

 

"We are very pleased to offer Estonian passengers the choice of two holiday destinations in Croatia now, both of which can be reached by direct flight from Tallinn during the summer season," Sakkov said. "In addition to the popular destination of Split, holidaymakers can now also fly to the beautiful harbor city of Rijeka on the coast of the warm and crystal clear Adriatic Sea, where they can enjoy the lively local culture and beautiful landscapes."

 

Nordica will fly direct from Tallinn to Rijeka once a week on Saturdays from June 4 to Sept. 24, and twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays from June 28 to Aug. 23. The duration of the flight is 2 hours and 45 minutes.

 

In addition to Rijeka, Nordica is flying to the Croatian city of Split from April to the end of October. In the middle of summer, Nordica flies direct from Tallinn to Split three times a week – on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

 

In cooperation with Adria Airways, Nordica is flying to 15 different European destinations this summer season. The route network includes Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Kiev, Munich, Nice, Odessa, Oslo, Paris, Rijeka, Split, Stockholm, Trondheim, Vienna and Vilnius.
