Norway's Egersund Net invests EUR 3.5 mln in expansion in Lithuania

Print versionEgersund Net, the Norwegian-capital company that has been producing industrial fishing nets in industrial park of Lithuanian Taurage for over a decade, last year expanded its production facilities in Lithuania and launched production of new products, informs LETA/BNS.

In addition to the old production and storage premises, the company built two new production facilities measuring 2,000 square meters each, Verslo Zinios said on Wednesday.
The investments in the construction and equipment totaled at 3.5 million euros.
The company expanded its earlier production line in one of the new buildings and launched production of a new range of tents protecting fish against environmental pollution and nets against birds. Egersund Net's 2015 turnover swelled by over 25% to 9.3 million euros.
