MAG provides intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance services to the U.S. government and NATO allies.

Since the contract is confidential, it is not known what tasks Estonian drones will be solving, the Estonian Defense Industry Association said.

"MAG is a perfect partner for us because their core business is operating with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in military operations as well as for executing commercial orders, while the core business of Threod is the development and production of UAVs," CEO of Threod Systems Sten Reimann said.

According to a cooperation agreement signed during the U.S. tour of the companies belonging to the Estonian Defense Industry Association, MAG will also be the authorized reseller of the products of Threod Systems. The first drones have already been obtained and are supporting NATO operations.
