LETA becomes Interfax official representative in Latvia

In March 2016, LETA has become the official representative of the Russian news agency Interfax in Latvia.

LETA now has the right to distribute Interfax information products to clients in Latvia, thereby expanding the range of its information sources reporting on the current developments in Russia and the C.I.S., in particular on the Asian economies and politics.

 

Interfax is a private news agency broadly recognized as an unbiased source of information. It offers around 100 specialized information services, including business and sociopolitical news, in-depth daily and weekly analytical reports on energy, military, finance and economy, stock exchange news, and other information for companies, financial experts, governmental organizations and media.

 

As of March 1, Interfax news products in Russian and English are published on the LETA website.

 

All LETA clients have the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the full range of Interfax information products free of charge by visiting LETA Russian and English newswires.

 

Each day LETA’s Internet homepage offers approximately 750 news items on sociopolitical, economic, sports and other events or developments in the Latvian, Russian and English languages.
