Viciunai to launch exports from Lithuanian factories to Brazil

Viciunai said that in a press release on Monday that the first batches of food products from surimi, breaded products, salmon and dumplings would be shipped to Brazil in the near future as the South American country had approved a certificate for the company's Lithuanian-made products.
The group did not disclose to BNS the exact date when exports to Brazil would start.
"We entered Brazil's market four years ago and have since acquired quite a good knowledge of the marker. However, our route to Brazil started in Spain, not in Lithuania," Viciunai Group CEO Sarunas Matijosaitis said in the press release.
The certificate allows us to offer a wider range of products, manufactured at our factories in Lithuania, to the Brazilian market," he said.
Viciunai exports around 97% of its products to 57 countries. It sells its products under the Vici brand name.
