Lithuania's candle maker Mediola launches exports to Asia

Print versionMediola, a Lithuanian company that offers handmade candles and soaps under a new brand name, Freshdeli Soul & Body, has recently launched exports to Asia, the business daily Verslo Zinios reported on Monday, informs LETA/BNS.

The Kaunas-based company sells its products to boutique and spa centers in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
Mediola has found new trade partners through direct contracts and with the help of Lithuanian diplomats. It has invested an undisclosed amount of money in registering its trademark and obtaining design patents in these countries.
Founded back in 1997, Mediola now exports around 70 percent of its products to Latvia, Estonia, Poland and Britain.
