Estonia's Brightspark to develop data management software for Norwegian Correlate

The Estonian software development company Brightspark OU has acquired 8% of the Norwegian software developer Correlate AS and will develop unique data management software for the Norwegian company in the course of two years, informs LETA/BNS.

As a result of negotiations that lasted five months, Brightspark decided to invest in Correlate and put together a team that will create the software in the course of two years. The software development will be dealt with by a nine-strong team out of Estonia. The size of the investment by Brightspark is half a million euros during two years.

 

In connection with the investment, 20–30 new jobs will be created in Estonia in 2016.

 

Brightspark's progress in Norway became possible thanks to the Norway Grants program financed by the Norwegian government.

 

Correlate is a digital bookmark enabling to organize personal data, by a single person or a team in a closed or open network, using the major cloud services such as Dropbox and Googledrive.

 

Brightspark is an Estonian software development company established in 2011. Correlate AS was founded in Norway in 2015.
