In September the first three employees of Double Coffee, i.e. Sergey Plotnikov, Andis Ludvikis and Normunds Laiko, returned from the extensive training in Verona. In the course of training they improved their skills, conducted detailed research of the nuances of coffee taste, flavour and colour and acquired valuable experience from the famous Italian barista Simone Cottani. Baristas underwent all the stages of responsibility examination and gained recognition of the representative of the manufacturer Pellini as well as received the diplomas of the Italian Barista School and the International Institute of Coffee Tasters. To be trained by the specialists of such level is not only a valuable experience for the baristas but also a great honour to receive the permission to prepare traditional Italian coffee beyond the borders of its motherland. The experience and skills acquired in Italy are a valuable acquisition for all coffee lovers of Latvia.
