After the strategic decision taken by the public relations companyHill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K) group to terminate its presence in the Baltic states with fully owned companies to continue its business with affiliate agencies, clients in Latvia will be served by a public relations and marketing strategy company Mezgaile, Malina and Austrins Ltd (MM&A), which has been formed by the former management team of H+K Latvian office.

MM&A will retain the previous H+K Latvia team, which was awarded the title of the Agency of the Year in the Baltics, and will start negotiations with H+K about securing affiliation rights with the group.

“The decision by H+K group is an opportunity to establish a company fully owned by local partners, which will even further strengthen the motivation to reinforce the previously leading market position of H+K Latvia and achieve even better business results for our clients. MM&A, just like H+K up until now, will be a highly commercially oriented public relations and marketing strategy agency, which will have client business results, creative strategies and execution excellence as its core values,” says Janis Austrins Chairman of the Board of MM&A.

“To continue to provide marketing knowledge of global scale, in addition to the accumulated experience of the H+K Latvia former team, we will enter into negotiations with H+K regarding  affiliation rights,” says Egita Malina, Board Member of MM&A.

MM&A in its operations will continue to expand the boundaries of public relations, increasingly combining the traditional public relations with the elements of advertising, social media as well as other marketing domains, all of which will be based on a creative strategy that is based on client brand purpose and business objectives,” says Linda Mezgaile, MM&A Board Member.

MM&A will start its operations as of April 16, that is, right after the H+K commitments towards its Latvian clients will have been fulfilled.
