The survey not only established the most popular and coveted employer in Latvia in 2014, but also determined leaders in individual sectors (finance, trade, production, IT and telecommunications, transport and logistics), and, for the first time, named the best and most popular employers in Kurzeme, Zemgale, Vidzeme and Latgale provinces.

In the financial sector, Swedbank has been voted Best Employer for the third year in a row.

Statoil Fuel&Retail Latvia is the top employer in the trade sector, and national airline airBaltic – in the transport and logistics sector.

Mobile telephony company Latvijas Mobilais telefons is the best in the IT and telecommunications sector, and Latvenergo in the production sector (which means two titles for the company this year).

Ventspils nafta terminals topped the list as Best Employer in Kurzeme province, Dobeles dzirnavnieks (bread, baked goods) in Zemgale, Cesu alus (beer, other libations) in Vidzeme, and Latvijas maiznieks (bread, baked goods) in Latgale.
