"Baltic Book Fair" gets underway in Riga

Print versionToday through March 2, the international book and publishers exhibition "Baltic Book Fair 2014" is held at Kipsala Exhibition Hall in Riga, bringing together authors, translators, publishers and readers, exhibition organizer BT1 informs, cites LETA.

Visitors to the fair will be able to attend public readings, discussions with writers, see a large number of display stands, buy books at discount prices.
Many publishing houses and book stores participate in the exhibition, such as Atena, Avots, Dienas Gramata, Janaa Rozes apgads, Jumava, Karsu veikals Jana seta, Kontinents, Latvijas Gramata, Latvijas Universitates akademiskais apgads, Madris, Nordik, Petergailis, RaKa, Tapals, White Book, Zvaigzne ABC and others.
Also this weekend, Kipsala hosts the annual "School 2014" fair.
