The board of directors of the Bank of Lithuania has allowed the Vilnius department of this bank to cancel its activities in line with the request of the head of this department, having analyzed the documents related to this request, informs ELTA.
The German bank continues integration into the banking group UniCredit – a year ago UniCredit Bank took over the business of Vilnius and Tallinn branches of HVB~Bank.
UniCredit intends to create a single Baltic bank with branches in all Baltic states.
