Latvian companies win 10 medals at "World Food Moscow"

Print versionLatvian producers won ten gold and bronze medals at the international food fair "World Food Moscow" in 2009, as the Marketing Council's public relations officer Andra Udre told LETA.

Fish cannery Karavela was presented gold and bronze medals for its canned fish products, fish cannery Sabiedriba IMS also received a gold medal, as did the confectionery Baltas naktis for its gingerbreads, and the fish cannery Ventspils zivju konservu kombinats.
The Marketing Council's Director Inguna Gulbe believes that this year the fair has been very successful for the Latvian participants, which is proved by not only the medals but also new contacts that Latvian producers established with Russian retailers.
