17 food producers to represent Latvia in "World Food Moscow 2009"

Print versionAt the fair "World Food Moscow 2009", taking place in the Russian capital from September 15 until September 18, Latvia will be represented by 17 food producers, as the Agricultural Market Promotion Center's public relations expert Andra Udre informed LETA.

The list of companies from Latvia participating at the fair includes canned fish and meat producers PK Invest, Unda, Kolumbija and Kursu zeme, as well as confectionery producer Lipo, fruit, berry and vegetable processing company Kronis, cracker producer Baltas naktis, food garnish producer Velte-L and chips producer Latfood.
"World Food Moscow" is the largest food industry fair in Russia, taking place annually since 1992. The event will take place at an exhibition center of 23,384 square kilometers floor space, and will have over 1,320 participants from 63 countries; usually over 56,000 visitors attend the fair annually.
