Research company Dive held the study at the end of the last year but a study a year earlier yielded the same result.
The services level of both Latvian and Lithuanian banks exceeds that of the average of Estonian banks considerably. As compared to the year earlier, the result has improved a little, but the weak spots of Estonian banks concerned some of the most important factors: finding out the needs of clients, offering the best solutions and ending the contact.
The top three banks regarding the service level were Danske, Nordea and Swedbank in Estonia. A year ago, Swedbank was followed by Danske (then Sampo) and Bigbank.
Dive says that only Danske offers a very good service in Estonia, exceeding the 90% threshold between a good and very good result. In Latvia and Lithuania, five banks exceeded the 90% level.
