Print versionAll of the necessary currency for Latvia's transition to the euro on January 1, 2014, has been delivered, Bank of Latvia Deputy President Andris Ruselis said today, reports LETA.

The Bank of Latvia has received the euro currency in all of the denominations.
Ruselis points out that the Bank of Latvia continued work on introducing the European single currency throughout the Christmas holidays.
''All of the necessary money is already in Latvia,'' Ruselis said, pointing out that work continued to distribute this money to banks.
Latvia will be joining the eurozone in just several days - on January 1, 2014.
