BTA Draudimas to finance BC Kauno Zalgiris

Print versionThe insurance company BTA Draudimas will allocate 5 litas (1.44 euros) from each signed compulsory vehicle civil liability insurance agreement to the basketball club Zalgiris.

Such assistance is foreseen in the cooperation agreement signed by BTA Draudimas and Kauno Zalgiris, reports ELTA.
The finance will be allocated from the agreements signed over the period of November 10 – December 10 this year. Later on, it will become clear what sum of money Zalgiris will receive.
"The basketball club Zalgiris is the history of Lithuania"s sports. Therefore, being socially responsible entrepreneurs, we feel obliged to help the renowned sports team to overcome the hard times and continue delighting their fans by good results and beautiful game," BTA Draudimas CEO Arnis Zekunde indicated.
