Nordea Bank Lietuva and Ukio Bankas increase their interest rates

Two more banks operating in Lithuania are going to increase their deposit interest rates.

Starting with Monday, Nordea Bank Lietuva increases the interest rates for all term deposits in litas and euros by 0.3-1%. The annual interest rate for deposits of shortest term – a week – will grow from 3.3-3.5% till 3.8-4% to private clients with regard to their status in the loyalty programme, and for companies – from 3.5% till 4%. Annual interest rates for deposit of one month in litas will increase from 4.4-4.6% till 4.9-5.1%, for companies – from 4.6% till 5.1%. The interest for twelve- month deposit in litas will increase from 6.1-6.3% till 6.6-6.8%, and for legal persons – from 6.3% till 6.8%. Interest rates also grow for deposit of three-year term. The annual interest rates for the deposit of one month in euros will increase from 3.60-3.8% till 4.3-4.5% for residents, for companies it will increase from 3.8% till 4.5%. The interest rates for the twelve-month deposits will increase from 4.4-4.6% till 4.9-5.1%, for companies – from 4.6% till 5.1%, reports ELTA.

 

Since Monday, Ukio Bankas also increases interest rates for private clients and business clients. From now on, the clients, who put their fixed deposit in litas for a year, will receive annual interest of 7%, in euros – 5.90% of annual interest rates, in U.S. dollars – 5.50%, and in pounds – 5.1% of annual interest.
