On Wednesday, Lithuanian parliament's ad-hoc Commission for Snoras bank bankruptcy received a proposition by a former Snoras' shareholder Vladimir Antonov to give written replies to the questions of the Commission, said Chairman, MP Valentinas Mazuronis.

"Today (April 25) we received an email from Vladimir Antonov. In his email, he says that he would like to help our Commission to investigate into the situation in Snoras bank. For obvious reasons he cannot come to a sitting of the Commission. He says he is ready to answer to the questions in writing if we have any questions to him," the chairman said, writes LETA/ELTA.

As reported, Antonov was arrested on November 24 in London after Lithuanian authorities issued the European arrest warrant over claims of fraud and embezzlement. He denies any wrongdoing.

Russia's citizen Antonov owned 68.1% of Snoras shares.
