Large tax debtors owed the state LVL 106.2 mln in early January

100 largest tax debtors – companies and private individuals – owed the state a total of LVL 106.2 million at the beginning of January, LVL 2.17 million less than at the beginning of December 2011.

According to the State Revenue Service's Internet website, Jevgenijs Jakovlevs is the largest tax debtor in Latvia at the moment with a debt of LVL 10.59 million. Metalex owes the state budget LVL 4.01 million, and joint venture Nafta Trading – LVL 3.76 million, writes LETA.

Company Putnu fabrika Kekava is in fourth place with a debt of LVL 2.69 million, followed by Eriks Mingazetdinovs (LVL 2.39 million), Andrejs Danengirss (LVL 2.34 million), Dizaina projekti (LVL 2.26 million), Jevgenijs Okss (LVL 2.03 million), Konti (LVL 1.994 million), and Agris Kruze (LVL 1.99 million).

According to the Revenue Service's data, 31 companies and private individuals had tax debts in excess of LVL 1 million at the beginning of January.
