Increasing Estonia’s stake in IBRD will require 1.8 mln USD

The Estonian Riigikogu will start discussing a draft law that prescribes increasing Estonia’s stake in the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for which 1.78 million dollars is needed, LETA/Äripäev.ee reports.

The shareholding will be increased by 247 shares for which starting 2012, over four years, payments into the bank’s share capital amounting to 1,787,810.70 USD will be made.
The Riigikogu board authorised the justice minister and finance minister to make the necessary procedures for subscribing the shares.
