Balti Investeeringute Grupi Pank AS, an Estonian bank specializing in consumer crediting, had its B1 long-term deposit outlook lowered to "negative" by Moody's Investors Service.
The Tallinn-based company's worsening asset quality and the higher cost of provisioning for bad loans are "likely to increase the pressure on its profitability", Moody's said in an e-mailed statement late yesterday.
Moody's affirmed the lender's E+ bank financial strength rating (BFSR) and Not Prime short-term deposit rating with a stable outlook.
