Estonian proof-quality euro coins put on sale

One set costs 98 euros and the sets can be purchased either from the e-store of Eesti Post and from larger SEB bank offices across Estonia.
Mint of Finland offers the coin sets internationally to its distributors.
The euro coin set contains one proof-quality coin from each denomination, that is, there are eight circulation coins with the total nominal value of 3.88 euros. Each coin is in a capsule to protect its surface from fingerprints and dust, writes LETA/
In addition, the set contains a copper-nickel (CuNi) silver-plated mint medal denoting the adoption of the euro in Estonia. One side of the coin bears the text "Tere euro!", or "Hello euro!" and the year mark – "2011", the other side displays the logo of Eesti Pank.
The diameter of the medal is 38.6 mm, it weighs 26.3 grams and is also in a capsule.
The Estonian euro coins have been designed by the graphic artist Lembit Lõhmus.
The design of the coin set has been made and the coins have been minted by Mint of Finland.
A total of 3,500 Estonian euro proof coin sets have been produced. A thousand sets will be sold through Eesti Pank and 2,500 will be marketed by Mint of Finland to its distributors in the international market.
The Estonian euro proof coin sets can be purchased from the e-store of Eesti Post or from larger SEB bank offices across Estonia. It is possible to buy up to three sets at a time.
