The decision to appoint Vitas Vasiliauskas as the Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania from 16 April was taken by the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania on 24 March this year, informs LETA/ELTA.
On Monday 11 a.m., Seimas Speaker Irena Degutiene will present Vasiliauskas to the employees of the Bank of Lithuania. The Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania is appointed for the term of five years. The number of the terms of office is not limited.
