"I would like to remind, and I have already spoken to the minister today, that I will not sign any additional decisions and will not approve of until earlier commitments are met – the decision upon compensation of reduced pensions until July 1," President Dalia Grybauskaite said at a press conference held by the European Institute for Gender Equality.

The president did not give any detail comments on the prepared SoDra rescue measures and said she would evaluate them only when they were fully decided upon, informs LETA/ELTA.

President Dalia Grybauskaite also claimed that property and motor vehicles taxes cannot be considered a measure to fill holes in the budget.

"Such taxes are debatable in the future, however, they must be considered very seriously. This is not a means to fill holes in the budget, especially, the property tax, which is more the means for future bubbles, speculations in the property management market," Grybauskaite told at a press conference held by the European Institute for Gender Equality on Monday.
