Latvijas Krajbanka opens branch in London

Print versionJoint-stock Latvijas Krajbanka bank has opened up a branch in London, the bank's public relations specialist Kristine Ozolniece informed the business information portal Nozare.lv. This is the first Krajbanka branch that has been opened outside Latvia.

The branch will be located on 6 Lombard Street in London, writes LETA.
As reported, in the first nine months of last year, Latvijas Krajbanka posted LVL 5.63 million in losses, according to the company's announcement at the Riga Stock Exchange.
In the first nine months of 2008, Krajbanka operated with LVL 3 million in profit.
The value of the bank's assets reached LVL 532 million on June 30.
LETA also reported, Krajbanka posted LVL 2.784 million in profit last in 2008.
Lithuanian bank Snoras, controlled by Russia's Konversbank, is the largest Krajbanka shareholder.
