Finland's OP Corporate Bank sees growth opportunities in Lithuania

Print versionThe Lithuanian managers of OP Corporate Bank (former Pohjola Bank), one of Finland's largest banks, say that they have big growth ambitions and know at least two ways of how to achieve this, the business daily Verslo Zinios reported on Thursday, cites LETA/BNS.

"The number of banks in such a small market as Lithuania is quite large and competition is really high. Nevertheless, we see growth opportunities, particularly in the business loan segment," it quoted Erika Vovere, CEO of OP Corporate Bank's Lithuanian branch, as saying.
The Finnish bank says that it currently holds a 4.7% share of the Lithuanian business loan market.
