Latijas Gaze rates for corporate customers cut 6-8%

Print versionThe joint-stock gas supply company Latvijas Gaze on January 1 2009 reduced gas supply rates for customers that use more than 25,000 cubic meters of natural gas a year, as told the company's press secretary Vinsents Makaris.

The rates have decreased 6-8%, depending on consumption group.
The decrease in the rates was possible thanks to the decreasing oil and oil product prices over the past six months, writes LETA.
The rates for Latvijas Gaze customers that consume less than 25,000 cubic meters of gas are revised twice a year, on January 1 and July 1. The rates for customers with annual gas consumption over 25,000 cubic meters are revised on a monthly basis.
