Elektrum will supply electric cars recharging venues in Estonia

Elektrum Eesti, the Estonian branch of Latvenergo, was declared the winner of a state procurement contest organised by Kredex and starting December 2013, Elektrum will supply all electric cars recharging venues across Estonia, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

There are around 750 electricity powered cars in Estonia. 163 speed chargers have been installed across the country, 100 in cities and 63 by highways.

 

While in the first quarter of this year, 32,000 kWh of electricity was used for recharging in the speed recharging network, in the third quarter the figure was 99,500 kWh.
