PKN Orlen and Vitol agree on crude oil deliveries to Lithuania

Polish oil company PKN Orlen on November 19, 2012, signed a spot agreement with Vitol S.A., Geneva, Switzerland (Vitol) for crude oil deliveries to ORLEN Lietuva (ORLEN Lietuva), the company said in a statement.

Estimated net value of the agreement amounts to approximately 78 million US dollars (i.e. approximately PLN 252 million, based on the average PLN/USD exchange rate as of November 19, 2012, as stated by the National Bank of Poland), writes LETA/ELTA.

 

The total estimated value of agreements signed between PKN ORLEN and Vitol in the period between September 1, 2012, and November 19, 2012, amounts to approximately 726 million US dollars.

 

Agreement dated September 19, 2012, is the agreement with the highest amount from among all agreements concluded between PKN ORLEN and Vitol in the period between September 1, 2012, and November 19, 2012. The estimated value of the agreement amounts to approximately USD 82 million (i.e. approximately PLN 259 million, based on the average PLN/USD exchange rate as of 19 September 2012, as stated by the National Bank of Poland). The agreement was concluded for crude oil deliveries to ORLEN Lietuva.

 

PKN Orlen S.A. owns 100 percent of ORLEN Lietuva shares.
