According to Elering's application, the average grid fee will increase from January 1 next year by 0.15 cents per KWh.
Elering's said that the growth is based mostly on growth of its investments in the Estonian electricity system. The biggest investment projects next year are EstLink 2, emergency power station and Tartu-Viljandi-Sindi 330kV electricity line construction. Elering invests a record 149 million euros next year.
