The portal includes transcripts today of telephone calls from 2010 between (apparently) business consultant Andrejs Livanovics, an official from the French concern Alstom Power and now former Latvenergo President Karlis Mikelsons and Vice President Aigars Melko. Their phones were bugged as part of an investigation into a possible bribery fact, reports LETA.
CPB spokesman Andris Vitenbergs confirmed that an internal investigation is under way in order to evaluate the authenticity of the leaked materials and their handling by CPB staff members.
