Managing director of the Tallinn office of Nordic Jet Line Mikael Granrot stated that one of the company’s speedboats has been in Spain since July 21.
“FRS received a new route permit for cruising between Algeciras and Ceuta and in order to comply with the conditions of the licence, we had to add a vessel there quickly,” he stated. Granrot commented that the fall in the number of passengers on the Helsinki-Tallinn route and dramatically growing fuel prices has forced the enterprise to make some quick decisions and now one of its vessels is in Spain.
The website of the enterprise reveals that instead of six departures on one way now the ships depart three times a day.
