Lithuania's power transmission system operator Litgrid said in a message to the Nord
Pool power exchange that the power link would be offline between 7 a.m. on
Monday and 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Maintenance work will be performed on LitPol Link for the
first time since it started regular operations in early February.
Construction on the 370-mln-euro interconnection was
officially completed last December. Sweden's ABB built its direct current
back-to-back station with a 440-kilovolt switchyard under a contract worth 101 mln
euros.
