BC, Tallinn, 06.08.2015.Print version
As compared to the same period last year, the Estonian petrol station chain operator Alexela Oil's first half year 2015 turnover fell by nearly 6%, LETA/Äripäev.ee reports.

Alexela Oil first half of the year turnover was 61 million euros, the company announced.

"There is in essence an economic recession at the fuel world market, today's 50 dollars is not far from the January 2009 level, when the price of oil was close to 40 dollars," explained the chairman of board of Alexela Oil Ain Kuusik. "However, Estonia's streets do not show any signs of such a slump and our petrol station stores turnover has greatly increased too."

Car gas sales revenue was the same magnitude with last year's.

Alexela Oil belongs to the Alexela Group, the company has 63 petrol stations, of which 59 are unmanned stations.
