Print versionSince the start of its activities in September 2005, Ryanair, airline company offering cheap flights, has transported 1 million passengers to and from Kaunas Airport.

Julia Michailovska, who flew from London, became the lucky millionth passenger at Kaunas Airport and was awarded free flight ticket of Ryanair from Ryanair representative Laszlo Marozsi, reports LETA.
Kaunas Airport CEO Arijandas Sliupas stated that it was the result of a long-term focused partnership and believed that more and more millions of passengers of Ryanair from Kaunas would be recorded.
Presently, the airline company employs 6,000 people and plans to transport about 67 million passengers over this fiscal year.
