Dutch professor with Lithuanian citizenship is fighting for freedom in Ukraine

Dutch professor with Lithuanian citizenship, who is fighting for freedom and democracy in Ukraine, found an original way to finance his ideas, informs LETA/ELTA, referring to Lietuvos zinios.

Robert van Voren intends to use funds from sales in Europe and Lithuania of vodka Inostrannyi Agent (Foreign Agent) to establish a media network in the Russian language in Kyiv which would counter propaganda from Russia.

 

Van Voren, who is a known sovietologist teaching political sciences in Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania and Ilia State University in Georgia, head of the organisation Global Initiative on Psychiatry, author of numerous books on the Soviet Union, the Second World War, mental health and human rights, has been spending some time in Ukraine recently.

 

The Dutchman who has Lithuanian citizenship says he is interested in everything what is happening in the country which experiences a historical turning point. He is sure that the events will affect not only Ukraine, but also Europe.
