Estonia to help Ukraine with e-solutions and court system reform

Print versionDuring a meeting between Estonian Justice Minister Urmas Reinsalu and his Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Petrenko, the two ministers agreed that Estonia is to help Ukraine with e-solutions of public services in the interests of corruption-free and fast managing, informs LETA/BNS.

Besides, Estonia is ready to help Ukraine with its court system reform, spokespeople for the Estonian Ministry of Justice said.
Reinsalu stressed that the fight against terrorism and the reform of the administration of justice are domestically very important challenges for Ukraine.
Petrenko thanked the Estonian government on behalf of the Ukrainian government for the decision to extradite an Estonian citizen who is suspected of fighting on the side of the separatists in eastern Ukraine. According to Petrenko it is a precedent according to which a country assesses the operations of the so-called Luhansk People's Republic as the operations of a terrorist group.
Reinsalu also laid a wreath at the Holodomor Memorial.
