Spain's ambassador visits Kaunas

Print versionOn the 25th of April Spain's Ambassador Miguel Arias Estevez met with Mayor of Kaunas City Andrius Kupcinskas, the municipality said.

The aim of the visit was to discuss the possible cooperation with Kaunas city, writes LETA/ELTA.
The ambassador expressed the hope that soon Kaunas city would begin the collaboration with one of the cities from Spain. Estevez also mentioned that the exchange of the experience between the citizens of two countries is developing various spheres including, arts, sports, music, education and business.
The theme of basketball was also discussed during the meeting. The Ambassador was proud that Lithuanian basketball legend Arvydas Sabonis with his family live in Spain.
