Andzs Ubelis re-elected as Parex banka's council chairman

On July 15, Finance Ministry Deputy State Secretary Andzs Ubelis was re-elected as Parex banka's council chairman.

Michael J. Bourke was appointed deputy chairman, informs LETA.

 

Ubelis was first elected chairman on December 23, 2008. Bourke for years was president at Rietumu banka.

 

At the council meeting, decisions were made on changes in the council's guidelines, and the bank's restructurization strategy. The council also heard the board's report about the bank's actual financial situation.
