GILD Bankers: Hansapank – the most valuable enterprise in Estonia in 2007

Print versionAccording to GILD Bankers, the leading investment bank in the Baltic State, the most valuable enterprise in Estonia was Hansapank as in the end of the year 2007, its market value amounted to 71.7 billion kroons, writes the National Broadcasting.

Hansapank was followed by Eesti Energia and SEB Pank with the respective market value of 23.4 billion kroons and 18.9 billion kroons.
GILD Bankers announced that the top three did not change in comparison to the previous year.
In a year the total value of the top 100 enterprises had fallen from 342 billion kroons to 304 billion kroons – i.e. 11%. In order to make it into the top 100, an enterprise’s value had to be at least 692 million kroons.
“The uppermost part of the top list has been largely unchanged, and that confirms the stability of the best enterprises in the private sector in Estonia and provides one with confidence regarding the economic development of the State,” said the leading partner of GILD Bankers Rain Tamm.
